Decanter Wine House

Visited decanter with my spouse, no celebration, just wanted a fine dining experience and good wine

I was totally impressed with the selection of Decanter's house wine. Usually, house wines are crap, not-selling cheap wines with low quality, and the bottle which (commonly) left opened and unkept just worsened the taste.

But.. in Decanter, the quality of house wines they offered are strictly guarded. As I discovered later, they were using a special 'wine dispenser' technology. I tasted two kinds of red.. The first is Cosa Dolce Syrah Dolcetto 2009, a sweet red. The second is peppery syrah wine (I forgot the name). Both tasted wonderful.

We decided to order sweet cosa dolce, as my spouse was keen on sweet-fruity-flavored wines. I thought it wouldn't match the lamb chop I ordered. Yet, they turned out pretty good, as my lamb chop sauce were a little bit sweet too.

The cosa dolce was especially great match for the dessert we ordered, mille feuille crepes.

Will definitely visit again, for another glass (or bottle) of great quality wine.
