You Can See-zle but Think Twice to Tee-zle
2011-04-14That day, that day, oh!
My dream came true, I spent a whole lot of afternoon in THE Sinou Kaffe, which I've been drooling for months seeing those uploaded picture on Twitter.
The shining grilled steak grease just fine
the creamy texture puffed just right
the pancakes that are sooo sweet just by looking at it
And, oh, those color chocolate on the tall glass is such a perfect companion.
Or so they are seen.
How photographic sensation is very delusional
All hail photographers
Either I'm just plain oogoo-gaa tongue could not taste the good-ness of Sinou's dishes or there's something wrong with the overflowing grease.
I ordered the stuffed mushroom, papa steak or something, hot chocolate, peach pancake, spicy spag & lime squash. That's all I rememeber. And I was with a company that afternoon, so I didn't whole lot by my self.
The dish was okay starting from the stuffed mushroom & the mayo cream sauce with slightly lemon scent was super fine, as well the specialty steak, they offer such homemade sauce I could relate to, feel just homey, although, the veggie was too little for the rich flavor of the dish.
Then the oogoo-gaa-gaa starts (i just ate, 2 mushrooms & a few bites of the steak)
I took the first fork for spicy tuna fettuccini, and the second one, and the third one and there it went, the whirling overly-greased or oil blah.. blah.. blah.. the tuna was too dry, but the spag was too oily, whats's wrong here? Even Oglio Olio is still better served in Citos's some high school coffee shop.
so my meal ended there, in that horrible pasta,
or perhaps the cook was having a bad day so the pasta tasted like hair oil
I took a bite or two on the pancake & the peach was good *thumb icon
proper portion & saucy yumm yumm
and a sip or two on the hot chocolate using the cinnamon as the straw (must try).
my tummy was too full with oil so couldn't contain another lactose fat *sinism
conclusion for the review,
do not go to Sinou when you are very very terribly hungry, its for fancy food sake
*sulda know -__-
best for first dates, though
*cheers
