Hi Openricers.This cafe is nothing new for me. I've been here a couple of times with fellow foodies. Sometimes I went there by myself too while waiting for traffic on a heavy office day.I really loved the hip and beautiful interior of this cafe. A youthful feeling always breezes everytime I went here, to Hog's Breath Cafe.This cafe is a franchise from that with the same name in Australia. The license of Hog's Breath was carried to Indonesia by brothers, Rio and Alfredo Hermanto. And this cafe has just celebrated its first anniversary last year.This cafe has two floors of dining areas in which you can choose. But the first floor could be much better since it has a bar area and also it is where the live music plays. Yes, they have live music on certain days. Be sure to always check their Instagram account for that.Macho Nacho - IDR 78K.Crisp tortilla chips stacked high with melted cheese, chilli con carne, and topped with Mexicana salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.It's a hell-a-portion served in one plate. But it tasted so delicious. I loved how they opted to serve 3 kinds of sauces for the topping. The salsa, the sour cream, and the guacamole really elevated the flavors and they didn't even overpowered the others and still came with a distinctive taste that spoiled my taste buds. I loved the usage of chopped olives and jalapenos too. The chilli con carne was also delicious. The meat was savory. Perhaps it could've been given more.Finger Food DelightNo need to bother looking for this item on the menu because you won't find it. So they given us some selections of appetizers to try, in one big plate.They are: American Style Buffalo Wings, Chicken Tenders, Full & Loaded Potato Skins, and Salt and Pepper Calamari.Let me describe them one by one.American Style Buffalo Wings : Marinated chicken wings with spiced flour and golden deep-fried, tossed with original spicy Buffalo sauce. Basically since I am a fan of chicken wings I find it delicious and the spiciness was still fine for me.Chicken Tenders : Chicken tenderloins coated with seasoned crumbs, golden deep-fried and served with Hog's own Honey Mustard. This one was nice but the seasoning needs to be more strong in flavor. But I guess that's why they serve the Honey Mustard along with this appetizer.Full & Loaded Potato Skins : Deep-fried potato skins loaded with chilli con carne, topped with golden melted cheese, sour cream, and chives. This one was my favourite. It's really delicious and the crispy potato skin was so loveable.Salt and Pepper Calamari : Hand-cut calamari rings dusted with salt and pepper breadcrumbs, golden-fried and served with sweet chilli dip. This one was my least favourite. The calamari didn't came as chewy as I would expected and I didn't feel the salt and pepper in the breadcrumbs.Natural Prime Rib SteakLite Cut (170gr) - IDR 198K, Regular (200gr) - IDR 229K, Boss Hog (300gr) - IDR 298K.Time to be a true carnivor and have steak. This one was the Regular size, a cut of 200gr of the best meat, served medium well.The steak was so heavenly delicious. It's so juicy, so succulent and tender too. It was done with justice. Served along with mashed potatoes, a corn cob, and vegetables. For the sauce it was mushroom sauce. Delicious all the way. Even the side dishes was good. The mashed potatoes was one of the best I've had so far. My turndowns would be the carrot wasn't crunchy and a bit bland. Could be given more salt though. The steak, no further need to say, absolutely delicious!Chicken Parmigiana - IDR 79K.Crispy coated chicken breast schnitzel topped with an Italian-style tomato sauce and shaved parmesan cheese. Choice of side dish: curly fries or mash and vegetable or salad.The chicken was also not disappointing. Cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. This one was served with sides as same as the steak, but with much better seasoned vegetables. The tomato sauce was nice, quite acidic but tasty. I just wished they'd given more of that sauce for the topping.Mississippi Mud Cake - IDR 69K.It's not my first time trying this cake. Actually this one was my favourite dessert at Hog's Breath Cafe, besides their Key Lime Cheese Cake.It's all chocolaty flavor has made me fallen in love with it since my first bite. The chocolate cake was nice, densed, but still quite light. The sweetness was perfect and I love the abundant chocolate sauce in this dish. Recommended to try for chocolate lovers.Overall conclusion, I just loved all the food. I love the hospitality from the owners and I loved the ambiance of the cafe.One of my-surely-have-to-visit-steak-restaurant right now. Kemarin ini saya ada ketemu client, kebetulan mereka minta ketemu di Central Park, tepat nya di Hog's Breath Cafe sama sekali saya belum tahu lokasinya sebelah mana, datang lebih awal terus tanya satpam, ternyata letaknya di Tribeca, lokasi tempat makan yang bersebrangan dengan Central Park, ternyata tempatnya juga lumayan besar dan terdiri dari dua lantai interior dalamnya juga unik dan bagus, banyak pernik pernik dari Australia, ternyata Hog's ini franchise dari negara Australia. Tempatnya sangat nyaman dan ruang tempat makannya sangat nyaman ada yang sofa jadi sambil makan ngobrolnya pun nyamanWalaupun tempat ini agak panas pada siang hati tetapi lingkungan sekitarnya yang banyak tumbuhan pohon besar jadi tidak terlalu berasa, memang konsepnya disini dengan open jadi kita ngak bosen dengan pemandangan dalam resto saja.Yang pastinya menu nya memamg western saran dari klien saya pesan steaknya yang jadi andalan resto ini, setelah beberapa lama makanan tiba, porsinya termasuk cukup besar, harum bumbu barbeeque nya tercium harum baik bumbunya juga harum daging panggang, disajikan dengan fries potato dan jagung dan brokoli. Daging ribsnya sangat empuk tapi bukanya lembek, masih terasa tekstur daging dan otot dari ribs tersebut dan juga bumbunya sudah meresap kedalam ribs nya dan diata toping diberi prawn garlic mayonaise, penampilannya sangat menggiurkan rasanya juga memang top markotopSelain ribs disini juga menyediakan minuman yang unik unik juga, karena saking banyaknya ribs tersebut saya tidak bisa mencicipi menu lain, dan hanya minum air putih saja continue reading

Jadi yaa wajarr aku review sanaa-sini..upsss Nah,Kali ini aku mau review sebuah tempat makan yang berkawasan di Central Park, Tribeca Park, GF Unit 15, Jl. Letjen. S. Parman Kav namanyaaa Hog’s Breath Café ! Menyajikan asutralian menu dengan harga terjangkau sesuai dengan menu yang ditawarkannn. Menu handalann dari resto ini ialah Hickory smoked prime rib steak & Aussie Burger. Berdasarkan pengetahuanku disana menjual burger dengan hrga yang lumayan mahal yaitu 67rb keatass sampaii seratusann. Nah aku kesana kebetulan memesan pizza with beef bacon terdapat 8 slice di dalamnnya dengan harga krg lebih 90ribuan. Aku juga memesan minuman yaitu strawberry smoothies hrganya aku lupaaa, aku hanya ingat rasanyaaa, manis-manis asemm gimanaa gituuu hehehe, rasanya bkin badan segerr kalo udah minum ituu. Disajikan di cangkir biasa dengan dimasukan potongan buah asli stroberi lohh.. Tempat dan dekorasinya aku suka banget, krn kan kalau di tribeca park ituuu hitungannya outdoor yaaa, jadi gak bosennn cuma liat restoo doang, tp bisa liat-liat suasana sekitar tribeca juga lohhhh... tempat makan yang berada di kawasan tribeca mall central park ini, tempatnya cukup unik dekornya dan tempatnya tidak ber AC sih,kita bisa melihat bar yang menyajikan minuman yang bisa dilihat langsung, restonya tempatnya juga tidak tertutup yang bikin lucu dia ada drum drum dan ada bangku yang tinggi tinggi gt, nah makan disini harganya lumayan untuk di kantong, tapi puas deh, karena pas keluar porsinya lumayan bisa makan berdua thu, banyak banget,  gw pesen burgernnya, porsinya besar, ada daging sayur dan ada buah beat didalamnya, kemudian ada kentang dan salad, nah dressing saladnya nih yang rasanya enak banget, kemudian gw pesen strawberry smoothies, well ini adalah strawberry smoothies paling enak yang gw minum, untuk makan disini gw menghabiskan kurang lebih 170K, well tapi perut puas, cuman ya harus betah ya karena menunggunya agak lama daan tempatnya agak panas. continue reading

First time I know Hog's Breath was from a friend who used to live in Aussie for years, he said this one is the Aussie's best steak. When it opens outlet in Indonesia, this one must be the one restaurant I should try. Established in July 1989 in North Queensland, with concept of serving the customers the unique dining experience with diverse menu. With casual dining concept and its speciality in Prime Rib Steak as signature dish, now Hog's Breath are available in over 80 outlets operating in Australia and overseas.Smoked Pork BBQ Ribs (Half Rack - Rp 178.000)he meat was tender, juicy, we proofed what Chef Anto said about the speciality of Hog's Breath's ribs, it was so easy to cut the meat from the bones, I love that so much! That was the most exciting part for me and Ci' Wibi, as we whispered each other this one was very scrumptious. Anyway, you can get your full rack portion for Rp 298.000.Key Lime Cheese Cake (Rp 55.000)Not an ordinary cheese cake, the lime is added into this cake. The lime taste little bit overpowers the cheese itself, suits for you who doesn't like too sweet cake. Served with ice cream.Missisipi Mud Cake (Rp 69.000)A chocolate cake, doused with chocolate and surrounded by liquid chocolate in plate. Nothing too special with the liquid chocolate for me. About the cake, it tasted like brownies, had perfect moist level, and was perfect to be eaten with ice cream.It has nice ambience (especially at the night), nice hospitality, and the price worths for the foods (depends on my dinner experience). For sure I will visit Hog's Breath again someday to try its famous signature Prime Rib Steak which slow cooked for 18 hours in special oven.
