Crisp-fried Eggplant Tossed (IDR 28.000)

An appetizer by Paradise Inn, the eggplant battered and fried with chicken floss as topping. Crispy outside and soft inside, well.. anyway I don't like eating eggplant to be honest. But at the first time I ate this I didn't even knew if this was eggplant. Tasted good for me, and Paradise Inn succeeded to make me love eating eggplant for the first time.

Hot Plate Tofu with Preserved “Cai Xin” and Minced Pork (Small - Rp 48.000 / Medium - Rp 68.000)

Meh, this one was one of my favorite at that night. The tofu was soft and sauted with minced pork and mushroom sauce. Psst... tell you a secret, at the bottom of the hot plate, it was coated with egg. So, how about finding it by yourself? Just order this one.

Poached Chinese Spinach with Egg Trio and Minced Pork in Superior Stock (Rp 58.000)

Hmm... never saw spinach soup with this good looking LOL. The spinach came with three different kinds of egg and various fillings. Tasted delicious and the spinach was cooked perfectly, perfect for those of you who likes eating fried or roasted foods in the opening of your dinner and eat this one when it's still hot. Yumm...

Crisp Pork Ribs with Marmite Sauce (Rp 88.000)

Pork pork pork! This one is the signature dish of Paradise Inn. The meat was soft, but little bit dry at the side where the meat was little bit thin. Served with yummy marmite sauce, the medium pieces came with the rib bones. The taste was more sweet than to savory. Recommend to eat this one while it's still hot.

Prawn Mayonnaise with Katsuobushi (Small - Rp 88.000 / Medium - Rp 108.000)

My favorite! First time I saw this I don't have any idea what it was, because all on the plate served was all full of katsuoboshi, some flakes of dried fish which you can see in some Japanese snacks. Tried to find something under the katsuoboshi.... and well, found the medium sized prawn with mayonnaise. The prawns were fresh and crispy fried.

The price worths for every foods you order here, and they have nice contemporary interior which makes you feel so homey. And the foods anyway... feels like paradise! Thank you Paradise Inn and OpenRice Indonesia for the night.

Paradise Inn has a simple concept which is to serve Chinese home-style cooking in a homey restaurant. Paradise Inn has evolved from Soup based dishes, teas and desserts to a more variety of appetizers, main courses since they had first opened.

The branch restaurant that I visited was located at Puri Mall’s second floor few restaurants down from Pizza Hut and Glosis. You would not miss the restaurant with its signature Chinese themed façade. The interior design inside oozes warmth and welcoming; the ambiance makes the restaurant cozy and family friendly. The combination of the light brown table against the gray brick wall and dim yellow light creates an authentic Chinese restaurant feel in olden time.

This dish is one of their additional menu and it is quite nice and interesting; deep fried and lightly battered eggplant topped with chicken floss. The eggplant did not overwhelm the dish and the seasoned battered with soft filling and savory chicken floss has a very nice savory textures that complements. There is crispiness from the batter, saltiness from the chicken floss and softness from the eggplant inside; perfect appetizer to start the meal.

To be honest with you; this tofu dish to me was the highlight of my meal! It is ‘THE MUST’ order one when you are here. The tofu is silky smooth and it melts in your mouth. The combination of the minced pork and brown sauce with extra mushroom and chai xin on a hot plate is a perfect combination, simply delicious.

They claimed it as their signature dish in the restaurant, only if you eat it while it is piping hot, or else it would not be impressive as they claimed. When you eat while it how tender the pork ribs are, covered with crispiness from the batter and juiciness from the marmite sauce. When I looked at the menu, the word “Superior” spiked my interest, quite a bold name for a dish. The rich flavor from the stock makes this dish more outstanding than other dish, thus where the word ‘Superior’ seemed to be appropriately used. The spinach was cooked perfectly, combined with three eggs, with century eggs among one of them, and savory broth makes it a hearty and comforting dish.

I have to admit that Paradise Inn knows how to cook their prawn mayonnaise. The prawn was battered lightly and fried perfectly, which was then mixed with the right amount of mayo that leads to a light and creamy dish. The thing that I was really impressed with was the Katsuobushi in the dish,a Japanese name for dried smoked tuna which is rarely found in any Chinese dishes. The chef had cleverly combined both flavors from Katsuobushi with prawn mayonnaise to create an unforgettable dish.

To end this review, I would have to admit that Boga group is the most consistent group so far; their food in every branch and every restaurant has consistent standard of good food and services. I hope the Boga group would keep maintaining their good quality restaurants that are pleasant and reliable whenever we are hungry and starving and in need of a good meal.

I've always loved the interior in any of Boga's chinese restaurants. And of course I also love the ones here. As according to its name, the interior concept also is made to replicate an old-fashioned chinese inn/lodge. If you ever watched any old-themed chinese kungfu movies, you will see a lot of similarities of interior with the ones you see here at Paradise Inn.
Certainly it was quite comfortable inside the restaurant, and also the service was very pleasing that day.

Deep-fried and light battered eggplant topped with chicken floss. It's one of their new menus. Actually I've experienced this kind of menu at Canton Paradise and I super loved it. This one at Paradise Inn kinda tasted the same. It's delicious. The batter on the eggplant had a nice bit of saltiness which combined perfectly with the savory chicken floss. The texture was good too. The tender eggplant, the crunchy batter and the rough-grainy floss really mixed well and it almost as if there was a feast of flavors and textures in my mouth.

This dish was so loveable. The tofu was very soft and silky. So tender it kinda melted in my mouth when I ate it. It's just so good! Also in the dish was the minced pork which tasted superb. The sauce in the dish was just delicious. And being served in a hot plate, the bottom of the plate was coated with egg. Overall it's a total knock-out of deliciousness. Hands down, this is just one must-order menu of the restaurant.

A new proclaimed signature dish of the restaurants. Since it took me some time to take photos of the dish, it went cold as I started eating it and it became a bit hard to chew. So better eat the ribs while they're still hot. Flavorwise it's good, although I found the dish was way too sweet for my palate. I prefer pork ribs to be a lot more savory though. But it's nice to try a different kind of flavors every now and then.

Quite a long name for a dish, right? But the flavors came in just one word: delicious.
I loved the taste of the stock which was so rich, and also the fresh cut spinach. And it's also wonderful how they incorporated three kinds of egg in the dish. What I liked the most was the blackened egg and it's also my favourite one with its nice spongy texture.

Save the best for last. It's not common to see katsuobushi in a chinese cuisine, especially home-style ones but I have to give applause to the restaurant for having this unique yet delicious dish. It's my most likeable dish, and I think other foodies that went there that day also share the same thought. Combining the katsuobushi (which commonly found on takoyaki and okonomiyaki) with the mayonnaise prawn was just genius. Each one just elevated the flavors of others. The texture was also great. A highly recommended dish from me.

Overall conclusion, yet again Boga Group didn't fail to deliver me awesome dishes. I have never been let down by any Boga's restaurant, and same goes here. There are just a lot to love about the restaurant, starting from the ambiance, the service, and most definitely the food.
Every dish served that day was just mouth-watering and in my opinion it came with the suitable price tags.
So thank you Openrice and Paradise Inn for having me. Certainly you guys have got me craving for more of those delicious chinese delicacies.

Deep fried battered eggplant topped with chicken floss. It's one of their new menu. It was crispy and flossy, but you can barely taste the eggplant. Well I'm not really a big fan of eggplant though, so I found this dish to be quite nice. You can eat it with rice or without rice, it's still good either way.

A new signature dish from Paradise Inn. You better enjoy it while it's still hot, so you could taste the maximum juiciness of the ribs, and the good sweet yet savory marmite sauce. But I still prefer their old signature, the Imperial Pork Ribs, as it is not as sweet as this one, and it comes with no bones. But this one's still worth trying if you're looking for something new.

My favorite dish of the night! It's basically the everyone's favorite mayonnaise prawn, but topped with Katsuoboshi, the fermented fish you usually found on your takoyaki. It's a brilliant idea to add katsuoboshi on the top, as they work really well together. The crispy and crunchy battered fresh prawn, together with mayo and the fishy (in a good way) katsuoboshi, that was heaven in my mouth.

Setelah sekian lama tidak ikut gathering Openrice, akhirnya saya dapat kesempatan untuk join acara gathering Openrice di Paradise Inn yang berada di Mal Puri Indah tanggal 11 Desember 2014 kemarin. Acara dimulai jam 7 malam.

Sebelum makanan untuk gathering ini dihidangkan, Rika, Marketing Manager memberikan penjelasan mengenai Paradise Inn. Paradise Inn merupakan salah satu resto yang bernaung di bawah Boga Group. Di dalam Boga Group terdapat banyak resto dengan nama Paradise, masing-masing memiliki arti tersendiri. Untuk Paradise Inn sesuai dengan namanya menyediakan chinese food dengan gaya rumahan dengan konsep penginapan. Dari yang awalnya dikenal hanya menyediakan menu soup dan tea, seiring dengan permintaan pasar berkembang menyediakan chinese food yang lebih bergaya rumahan. Setiap bulan Paradise Inn menghadirkan menu baru. Oleh karena itu konsep tempatnya sendiri didesain dengan gaya penginapan di cina. Ada 2 ruangan private room yang didesain seperti kamar dengan cermin berbentuk gelas. Didesain seperti itu agar pengunjung lebih santai dan merasa nyaman saat berada di situ. 

Setelah penjelasan tersebut, makanan yang menjadi menu gathering saat itu datang satu per satu. Totalnya ada 5 menu. Menu yang disajikan di resto ini tidak semua halal. Let's check out those menu:

Menu ini adalah terong yang digoreng crispy dengan taburan abon ayam di atasnya. Saya yang sebelumnya tidak pernah makan terong jadi tertarik untuk mencobanya. Rasanya bukan seperti terong tetapi lebih seperti jamur yang digoreng. Rasanya enak jika dimakan bersama dengan abon ayamnya. Untuk 1 porsinya dihargai Rp 28.000,-

Ini salah satu menu tidak halal di resto ini. Menu ini adalah tahu berbetuk kotak dimana dimasak dengan saus gurih dengan daging babi yang dicincang kecil, jamur kancing yang dipotong kecil-kecil, di bawah tahunya terdapat telur yang berbentuk seperti kerak. Tahunya sangat lembut dan sausnya gurih sekali. Disajikan di atas hot plate. Untuk menu ini adalah 2 pilihan size, untuk size Small dihargai Rp 48.000,- sedangkan untuk size Medium dihargai Rp 68.000,-

Menu ini adalah signature dish dari Paradise Inn. Ini merupakan menu favorit di resto ini. Babi yang dipotong dengan ukuran sedang dimana masih ada tulangnya, dimasak dengan sause marmite yang gurih. Rasanya enak banget, dagingnya tidak keras hanya saja tulangnya terlalu besar. Untuk 1 porsi menu ini dihargai Rp 88.000,-

Menu ini adalah salah satu menu favorit saya setelah crisp pork. Berbeda dengan menu serupa di resto lain, di Paradise Inn udangnya disajikan dengan ukuran cukup besar dan mayonnaisenya yang berlimpah. Uniknya disini ditaburi katsuobushi di atas udangnya, yang biasa dipakai untuk taburan takoyaki. Rasa udangnya juicy sekali, nikmat sekali dimakan dengan mayonnaisenya. Untuk menu ini ada 2 pilihan size, untuk size Small dihargai Rp 88.000,- dan size Medium dihargai Rp 108.000,-

Ini adalah menu terakhir yang disajikan. Tampilannya bagus sekali. Bayam yang dimasak dengan 3 macam telur, yaitu telur ayam yang dibentuk mata sapi rebus, telur pitan dan scallop. Selain itu ada potongan daging sapi cincang dan jamur. Kuahnya terasa segar sekali. Bayamnya pun teksturnya lembut. Untuk 1 porsi menu ini dihargai Rp 58.000,-

Talking about the venue, the design basically reflects the name of the restaurant, as it is made to look like an inn. Using the ‘inn’ word, the restaurant wants to give their guests the comfort ambiance, which is exactly what you get when you stay at an inn. For the guest who needs more privacy, Paradise Inn does provide VIP rooms, which can occupy  approximately 10 – 12 people. The total size of the outlet itself is quite big and thus able to accommodate quite many people. However, the occupancy rate is quite high as well even in the weekdays.

At my visit, I experienced very pleasant service from both the management and the waiters/waitresses. They were highly responsive to any requests raised by the guests and they were enthusiastic in answering all the questions raised to them. Besides, it didn’t take them too long to prepare all the dishes ordered although the venue had quite high traffic at that time.

Coming as the appetizer was this fried eggplant. If only I didn’t read the menu, I might not notice that it was eggplant. Served in golden brown color and topped with chicken floss, this  dish looked stunning, despite that the components were actually quite simple. The taste was quite lovely as it was crispy, not greasy, and the batter’s thickness was just right. As the fried eggplant was not too tasty, the chicken floss came as the perfect companion to enjoy it.

Served on a hot plate, I still could enjoy this dish while it’s warm though I had taken quite long time to take pictures before enjoying it. The tofu’s texture was great as it was so soft that it could easily melt in your mouth. Besides, you could have your taste bud pampered by the mixture of minced pork and preserved ‘Cai Xin’. Preserved ‘Cai Xin’ itself was also known as “Century Egg, Hundred-Year Egg, Thousand-Year Egg, and Millennium Egg”. It was made by preserving duck, chicken, or quail eggs in a mixture of clay, ash, salt, quicklime, and rice hulls for several weeks or even several months; causing the yolk turned to be dark green to grey with creamy texture, while the white became dark brown with jelly texture. It’s been a long time since the last time I ate this egg, and this time, this dish made me recall the egg’s  great taste.

Coming in quite simple presentation, this dish was actually the signature one from Paradise Inn. At first, my foodie friends and I had the same opinion on the ribs’ texture. We thought that the ribs were slightly too hard and dry. Thinking that this might happen as we didn’t enjoy the dish when it’s still warm, we then requested the restaurant to make another portion for this dish. I then tried the second version of the pork ribs and I found out that the texture would only be hard and dry at the side where the meat was quite thin. On the other hand, at the side where the meat was thick enough, it was juicy and tender. The marmite sauce itself was adorable. If you wonder what marmite was, it was basically brown spread made from yeast extract. This sauce let you enjoy the mixture of both sweet and savory flavors.

Now we arrived at the star of the day, the mayonnaise prawn which was uniquely served with Katsuobushi; dried and fermented Skipjack Tuna that you usually found to be served with Takoyaki or Okonomiyaki. For me, this was the most distinctive mayonnaise prawn I’ve ever had; and I immediately fell in love with this innovative recipe. Most importantly, the prawn itself was so fresh that the texture was chewy inside but crispy outside. Hěn hào chī (very delicious)!

In a nutshell, I enjoyed every single dish served on the table. As I mentioned before, I just felt like I was back at home, dining my mom’s home-made dishes at my own dining room. I thought Paradise Inn was successful in delivering the concept of “Home-style  Chinese Cooking”, which it indeed intended to realize at its establishment. Menurut saya, udang mayonnaise ini adalah highlight menu di malam ini. Menu udang mayonnaise sudah sangat biasa, bisa kita temukan di setiap Chinese restaurant. Namun Paradise Inn berhasil membuat sesuatu yang baru : udang mayonnaise yang ditaburi dengan Katsuobushi. Katsuobushi sendiri sangat popular di masakan Jepang, merupakan ikan skipjack tuna yang sudah dikeringkan dan difermentasikan, biasanya ditaburi di atas takoyaki dan okonomiyaki. Recommended.

Harganya lumayan mahal sekitar 50 ribuan.

sebenarnya rasa kedua puding ini mirip, terdiri dari jelly yang disiram oleh sirup, bedanya yang longan, diberi 2 buah longan, sedangkan yang lemongrass diberi selasih dan sirup rasa sereh dan jeruk nipis.
Menurut saya dessertnya tidak terlalu spesial, kalo lihat harganya sih, harga dessertnya sekitar 25 ribuan, untuk harga segitu sih, saya akan kurang puas dengan sajian yang diberikan.

Setelah mengintip buku menu, harga 159 yang saya bayarkan sebenarnya tidak murah juga, total ketiga menu daging, sayur dan tahu mungkin sekitar 150 ribuan, jadi saya hanya gratis 4 porsi dessert yang rasanya tidak terlalu spesial.

Halo openricers,

Kali ini yang akan direview adalah Paradise Inn, salah satu restoran baru di Puri Indah Mal. Restorannya dikonsep dengan bagus dan sangat bernuansa China.

Tempatnya kelihatan spacious dengan meja nuansa warna coklat muda dan tampak lampu lampu mirip lampion putih hitam berukuran besar sebagai point of interest.

Pelayanan sangat baik dan gesit menyambut pelanggan yang baru masuk. Uniknya semua pelayan memakai baju khas China dan untuk cewek rambut dikonde yang mengingatkan saya pada film2 kungfu China.

Makanan yang kita pesan antara lain Imperial Pork Ribs dan sauteed baby kailan oyster sauce.

Iga babi di luar dugaan enak banget. Dan asyiknya lagi sudah boneless jadi tidak perlu repot dengan tulang2nya. Rasanya lembut tapi luarnya crunchy. Bumbu2 yang dipakai subtle tapi merasuk sampai ke dagingnya.

Baby kailan juga enak karena segar dan masih krenyes saat digigit. Untuk dessert kami mencoba Lemongrass Pudding. Memang rasanya unik karena baru kali ini saya mencoba agar2 yang diberi air lemon. Tapi bukan sesuatu yang special dan die die must try.

Overall puas makan di sini dan pastinya akan kembali mencoba menu lainnya.

Paradise Inn ini memperkenalkan khusus masakan Cina dengan sentuhan kontemporer. restoran ini terbilang cukup baru, dibuka pada juni 2012. Suasana Paradise Inn ini menggunakan konsep tradisional penginapan cina tetapi dibaur dengan unsur kontemporer jadinya oriental kontemporer. Bisa dilihat dari pintu masuk restoran ini sampai masuk kedalam restoran ini.

Waitressnya semua menggunakan seragam pakaian cheongsam dan mereka ramah-ramah. Mereka juga pintar dalam memberikan info menu yang ada di buku menu. Karena saya kurang mengerti masakan Cina jadinya saya pilih yang standart-standart saja, seperti Chicken with honey and young ginger, sautees baby kailan oyster sauce dan chilled lemongrass pudding.

Waktu itu pengunjung yang makan di Paradise Inn cukup banyak dan suasana cukup ramai, jadi kita harus sabar yah menunggu menu kita. Tidak lama kemudian pesanan saya datang. Dan penyajiannya juga berbau-bau cina, piringnya ada tulisan cinanya dan mangkuknya khas banget seperti makan di cina. Chicken with honey and young gingernya enak yah, rasa manis dari madu dan rasa hangat dari jahenya jadi satu, bumbunya meresap sampai ke dalam daging ayamnya, dan ayamnya empuk. Baby kailannya rasanya aneh, mungkin karena saya tidak pernah makan masakan cina jadi menurut saya tidak enak, heheh.. Sebagai penutupnya adalah chilled lemongrass pudding. Yang ini enak, adem di perut, ada rasa lemonnya dan sedikit ada mintnya. Penyajiannya pun diberi daun mint beneran diatasnya.

Sebenarnya restoran yang 1 ini sudah buka mulai 17 Desember 2012 kemarin, akan tetapi baru kemarin gw sekeluarga mampir ke restoran Paradise Inn yang terletak di dalam Mall Puri Indah, Jakarta ini. Dulu sebelumnya, lokasi restoran ini digunakan oleh Ajisen Ramen. Saat kedatangan gw sekeluarga, dapat dikatakan kalau restoran ini cukup ramai. Pada bagian depan restoran ini, terdapat sebuah menu board besar yang terletak di bawah papan nama restorannya. Di menu boardnya tertera nama seluruh menu yang disajikan direstoran ini. Pintu masuk restorannya dibuat dengan bentuk yang mirip seperti pintu rumah penginapan orang Tiongkok dulu. Bagian dalam restorannya dapat dikatakan cukup luas, akan tetapi untuk berjalan agak sulit karena penempatan meja dan kursi yang cukup dipadatkan. Selain itu, terdapat juga ruangan VIP bagi Openricers yang ingin makan dengan privasi.

Imperial Pork (S)- Rp. 48,000-++
Boneless paikut babi yang digoreng kemudian dimasak dengan saus asam manis. First impression, cukup mengejutkan karena untuk ukuran small nya benar-benar HANYA terdapat 6 pcs daging (sesuai dengan jumlah gw sekeluarga) dan foto ini gw ambil tepat setelah lauknya riba, jadi belum disentuh sama sekali. Selain itu potongan dagingnya pun tidak sama besar, sehingga ada yang besar maupun kecil. Untuk rasa, menurut gw sama seperti daging dimasak asam manis pada umumnya, akan tetapi bumbunya cukup meresap ke dalam dagingnya. Cukup mahal apabila dibandingkan dengan kuantitas isinya.

Hotplate Tofu (M)- Rp. 58,000,-++
Menu yang 1 ini juga cukup mengejutkan. Awalnya, gw mengira ini ukuran small, rupanya ini berukuran medium. Sebuah tahu sutra yang besar dengan sepotong tahu sutra yang berukuran 1/2 nya digoreng kemudian disiram dengan saus kental yang berisi irisan kecil jamur hioko, daging babi cincang, sedikit irisan cabe merah dan irisan daun bawang. Ada kejutan lain di menu ini karena ada sebuah telur dadar goreng yang digunakan sebagai "alas" dari tahu ini. Besar telur dadar gorengnya seukuran piring hotplatenya. Untuk rasa, saus kentalnya sendiri berasa sedikit pedas dan asin, yang cukup memberi rasa bagi tahu sutranya yang lembut yang berasa aroma kedelainya. Jamur hioko dan daging cincangnya cukup kecil, akan tetapi cukup memberikan tambahan rasa gurih dan empuk tersendiri apabila dimakan bersama dengan tahu dan telur dadarnya.

Daging babi samcan yang berukuran kotak ini dimasak dengan slow cooker hingga lembut, yang kemudian disiram dengan saus asin manis berwarna coklat. Texture dagingnya menurut gw cukup lembut karena langsung meleleh begitu dimakan. Perbandingan antara lemak dan daging pun merata, sehingga Openricers dapat merasakan keduanya saat dimakan. Saus dan bumbu untuk memasaknya juga cukup meresap ke dagingnya. Akan tetapi memang lebih nikmat bila dimakan sambil disiram dengan menggunakan saus siraman babinya. Very recommended untuk dicoba

Sayur bayam yang dimasak dengan menggunakan telur ayam, telur phitan dan telur asin dengan sedikit daging babi cincang. Menurut gw, menu ini cukup berkuah dan basah karena hampir 1 mangkuk terisi dengan kuah yang dihasilkan oleh bayam dan campuran ketiga jenis telur tersebut. Untuk isinya sendiri, sayur bayamnya menurut gw tidak begitu banyak, lalu telur phitannya pun dipotong cukup kecil, dan gw gak merasakan adanya rasa telur asin. Yang masih terasa adalah telur ayam yang diorek.

Nasi goreng seafoodnya menurut gw cukup unik karena pada nasinya terdapat taburan tobiko yang membuat nasinya menjadi lebih gurih. Akan tetapi, nasinya menurut gw terlihat agak polos karena isinya diiris terlalu kecil dan halus. Untuk isinya sendiri ada potongan daging udang, irisan bakso ikan dan telur ayam yang diorek.

Stir Fried Hor Fun (S)- Rp. 48,000,-++
Setau gw hor fun itu dari segi bentuk lebih lebar dari kwetiaw tetapi memiliki rasa yang sama. Dan untuk menu ini, gw melihat kalau bentuk hor funnya sama persis seperti kwetiaw dan memiliki ketebalan yang lebih tipis sedikit dari kwetiaw.
Hor fun ini dimasak dengan cara ditumis kemudian disiram dengan kuah kental yang berisi irisan wortel, sayur caisim, udang dang telur ayam yang diorek. Untuk rasanya menurut gw cukup lumayan karena irisan wortel dan udangnya membuat hor fun ini cukup gurih.

Beef Hor Fun (S)- Rp. 48,000,-++
Hor fun goreng ini berisi tauge, irisan paprika merah, dan daging sapi yang diiris tipis. Kalau gw pribadi, gw untuk rasa, gw lebih memilih beef hor fun ini akan tetapi kalau mau lebih mengenyangkan, masih stir fried hor fun tadi yang lebih mengenyangkan. Untuk isinya, kalau dibandingkan, beef hor fun ini terlihat lebih sedikit dibanding menu hor fun yang satunya. Akan tetapi untuk hor fun yang ini, daging sapinya, walau diiris tipis masih dapat terasa dan bumbunya pun cukup meresap ke dalam. Sayuran tauge dan irisan paprika merah juga turut membuat hor fun ini makin gurih untuk dimakan.

Ice Milk Tea- Rp. 23,000,-++
Karena penasaran dengan tagline "with secret recipe" pada foto yang ada di menunya, gw pun memutuskan untuk memesan minuman ini. Akan tetapi cukup kecewa juga sih karena rasanya seperti es teh susu standard pada umumnya. Malahan yang ini terasa tawar sama sekali sehingga rasa evaporated milknya terasa.

Nasi Putih- Rp. 8,000,-++
Chinese Tea (per person)- Rp. 5,000,-++

Sebelumnya nih, ada beberapa informasi untuk para Openricers:
*Harga makanan yang gw tulis ini BELUM termasuk pajak dan service charge.
**Kemudian untuk para Openricers Muslim, disarankan untuk berhati-hati dalam memesan makanan dan apabila kurang jelas, sebaiknya ditanyakan kepada pelayan restorannya karena ada beberapa menu yang non halal (mengandung babi)

Overall, untuk makanan, ada beberapa yang cukup mahal menurut gw. Kalau mahal tapi porsi cukup banyak, masih bisa dimaklumi, tetapi kalau mahal tapi porsi sedikit agak mengecewakan juga. Kalau rasa makanan, menurut gw cukup enak karena rasanya memang benar-benar berpatok pada Chinese Food pada umumnya. Soal pelayanan, menurut gw agak so-so, karena cukup sulit untuk memanggil waiter kalau suasana restonya sedang ramai dan waiternya juga terkesan melayani dengan terburu-buru. Akan tetapi tidak menutup kemungkinan bagi para Openricers untuk mencoba makanan yang disajikan di restoran ini.
