Begitu bersemangatnya mencicipi olahan menu di Tim Ho Wan, saya pun langsung bertanya kepada sang waiter tentang menu recommended di sana. Alhasil beberapa menu pun masuk ke dalam daftar pesanan. Saya suka torehan bumbu Bakpau yang kaya akan rasa. Manis seolah jadi cita rasa yang dominan dengan sedikit rasa gurih yang 'bikin nagih'. Ada lagi menu yang jadi incaran adalah Chong Fan Saus Wijen atau rolled rice noodle. Maka tak heran, satu porsinya sudah cukup mengenyangkan.

Ini pertama kali gw ke timhowan dan cobain makanan nya, makanan pertama yang gw cobain adalah yang chow fried rice, dan rasanya sungguh memuaskan. Setelah itu keluar lah hidangan dimsum yang kata nya terkenal banget disini, bener banget, siumai babi isi udang, tim lumpia kulit tahu dan bakpau isi babi barbeque sungguh luar biasa enak. Gak salah tempat ini di beri gelar raja nya dimsum.

Ini dia salah satu tempat makan dimsum yang sangat recommended. Rasanya enak dan membuat kita mau kembali makan di sini. Tempatnya sangat cozy dan nyaman. Untuk harganya memang agak mahal, tapi worth it banget. Kalau kita makan di sini, harus mencoba baked bun barbecue porknya. Bagian luarnya crispy manis yang dipadukan dengan isinya, hmm..membuat baked bun ini terasa sangat enak. Wajar, kalau baked bun ini menjadi star dish.

Hi OpenRicers,gw kesini untuk coba tim ho wan yang buka di indonesia tepatnya di PIK. kalo hari sabtu minggu pagi, udah pasti waiting list deh yang dateng banyak banget keluarga untuk dimsum. gw cobain menunya yaitu pangsit goreng wasabi jadi dalemnya itu potongan ayam dan udang serta ada pinch of wasabijadi rasanya agak pedes yang nyelekit gitu pas dimulut hehe. overall ya menurut gw sih boleh dicoba makan dimsum disini biarpun harganya bikin dompet kempes haha. Selamat mencoba!

The three of us were there for a weekday lunch. First thing we noticed when we walked in was the noticeable smell of... septic tank. *shiver* Seems like this happens a lot in the PIK area. - BBQ pork bun
  This thing is delightful, almost like roti boy for the breading, and the BBQ pork is up to par as well.
- wasabi pangsit goreng
  Nice idea, but they give too little of the wasabi mayonaise. So there wasn't enough kick.
- siomay
  Taste good, on par with the good dimsum places around the city
- pork liver cheong fan
  I didn't enjoy this dish, the pork liver doesn't go well with cheong fan I think. And the cheong fan wrap is a bit too thick and chewy.
- Fish maw with shrimp
   This dish taste confusing, I am not sure what they are tying to go for here.

So to sum it up, a few nice dishes here, food is on the more expensive side though. And hopefully PIK will one day fix their "I can smell the septic tank from my table" problem.

Dari sekian banyak menu saya paling suka dengan bakpao panggang isi babi panggang, bakpao nya aja enak terlebih dengan isian babi panggangnya yang mantab Idr.43.000.

Tim kaki ayam nya juga enak ,ditim tidak terlalu lama jadi masih sedikit kenyal tapi tidak alot, dan isinya lumayan banyak dimasak dengan saus abalone. Idr.43.000.

Secara keseluruhan sih rasanya lumayan enak, tetapi gak semua enak, kalau harga nya boleh terbilang mahal perporsinya, jika dibandingkan dimsum pada umumnya. Termasuk yang bintang lima sekali pun.

girls day out,me n my friend visiting tim ho wan.katanya ini resto dimsum yg dapat michelin...dr sini ku baru paham michelin means expensive...hahaha...antriannya kebetulan aga sepi jadi pelayanannya cepat banget cenderung kasar&berantakan..rasa makanan so-so &kalo dibanding dengan harganya kurang sebanding yak...apalagi kalo pake acara kudu ngantri berjam2 sampai lantai 3,menurut ku mending ga usah d.tapi untuk menambah pengalaman makan mirip dengan di hongkong bolehlah...semuanya serba cepat

At that time the queue not as bad i visited at Singapore or the crazy long queue we can see at Malaysia. Maybe around 15-20 minutes waited at that moment. The size of the restaurant quite big with simple interior design. Wooden furniture and white bricks on skme part of the wall. Homey ambience and suitable for us to enjoy dim sum even more. The service quite bad because when we switch table they didn't put back our food to our new table and they missed some of our order without inform us the food already out of order, understand at that day situation very crowded. Hopefully the service will be better for the next visit.

The menu at Tim Ho Wan Indonesia features their signature "Big 4 Heavenly Kings" like Baked Bun with BBQ Pork, Pan Fried Carrot Cake, Steam Egg Cake & Vermicelli Roll with Pig'a liver but we don't order all of it at that time. Here's our review for the food:
