For the food, we only ordered the Croissant Nutella (IDR 58K++) as we just finished our dinner at Djati Bistro (detail soon on the blog).
Well, the croissant was not the croissant that we expected to be. We asked for some dessert recommendations from the waiter, and he said we could share the croissant for 5 of us, as 6 croissants would be served. With that in mind, we ordered 1 croissant, not knowing that what he meant as 6 croissants was 6 super tiny croissants that did not even look like croissants. The flavor itself was tasty, the croissant was crisp and there was an adequate spread of Nutella on the inside. But there was nothing spectacular from it.
I don’t get why I needed to go back for IDR 58K tiny croissants that tasted so normal. It does not make any sense. I don’t mind to pay more as long as the food manages to satisfy my hungry taste buds. BUT this one just NAH. It might be quite early for me to decide whether to revisit the café in the future so I’m just going to give it an average mark. Although, I do find the situation quite devastating. I mean, I’m sure they can do better than that.
