It is always safe to eat in a place where you are familiar with, either you have been there before or you heard from a friend that this particular restaurant is good or you know if the restaurant you are going to visit is a chain restaurant/café, in my case I know this café and have visited this franchise at numerous times however my visit was in Australia not in Indonesia.
This Café chain is originally from Perth, very much well known around Asia Pacific. Being a café you may expect all the standard features such as logo, service and most definitely the food are the same if not almost identical.
There are inside and outside sitting and I assume inside in AC room is non smoking area and the outside sitting is a smoking area.
As a proper cafe there are lots of magazines & news paper to read which is almost compulsory especially if you are alone and waiting for someone to turn up.
The uniformed staff is very polite & courteous. They let us have time to read the menu first before ordering.
The Seafood Pasta I ordered at Rp. 55.000 comes at my surprised smaller than I expected as if you ordered pasta in Australia it will come in a plateful. Presentation is standard in nice clean white bowl. I think the seafood come from frozen seafood, all in small sizes including prawns, squid, mussel, etc. The plus side is they come with nice crisp garlic bread. The spaghetti tastes delicious which to my surprise!
The ice cappuccino also as an international brand tastes good for Rp. 30.000.
The one that surprised me was that the fresh orange juice is come in a jug, even though not totally full. Even orange juice here tastes extra nice for Rp.30.000
Prices are plus 21% tax and service which I am happy to pay as the service is very good.
