(Ohayou Gozaimasu! Konnichiwa!)

It has been a while since my last visit to Mall @ Alam Sutera, and I decided to visit this large shopping mall again last week with my parents. Mall @ Alam Sutera can be considered as one of the largest malls in Alam Sutera and the mall got more crowded compared to my last visit here, but it was still spacey and nice.

Let's get started with the food!

Crunchy Spicy Salmon (IDR 45k)The Crunchy Spicy Salmon is sushi filled with crunchy flakes, spicy sauce and topped with fresh salmon. The salmon was really fresh and a little bit cold, the moreish crunchy flakes was crispy, flavorful and delicious and the spicy sauce was nice although it was not really spicy.

(Another rainy weekend...)

I always think weekend is a perfect time to hang out and trying out new restaurant with friends. After one week working or studying, I think everyone deserved to have a good time on the weekend, some might opt to play games with friends, doing sport or other things according to their hobby. As for me, I opt to eat good foods and visit nice places on weekend to refresh my mind and to find my kind of happiness!

So, on that rainy weekend, me and my friends decided to meet up in one of the famous burger joints in Senopati, Three Buns. I have to say burger is a kind of food that is loved by many people. It's a delicious and simple food that can be eaten by children, teenagers or adults. The place itself is stunningly cool and unique, I felt like I was warped to another country when I entered the restaurant. (lol!) The place was bright, cozy and gives off homey feeling, I love how they decorate the whole restaurant, it is indeed a masterpiece! Though it was raining hard that day, luckily it was still bright when we arrived at the restaurant, so I could get a good lighting for my photo!

Without further ado, let's get started with the foods review!

Naughty Fries (IDR 45k)

The Naughty Fries is a french fries topped with béarnaise sauce, beef chili, crispy shallots and parmesan cheese. The moment I tried it, I instantly fell in love with this Naughty Fries, frankly speaking, I freaking love this Naughty Fries! The fries was crispy and perfectly cooked, the béarnaise sauce and parmesan cheese did a great job in elevating the taste without overpowering the whole dishes and the crispy shallots was delicious and moreish. It was super duper delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this menu to all of you! You really have to try their Naughty Fries if you come to Three Buns!House Fries (IDR 35k)House Fries is basically french fries topped with crushed herb salt. The fries was cooked until it reached a perfect level of crispness. It was delicious, a little bit salty, and it was a perfect companion for burger. (you could never miss fries when you eat burger, right?)

Honky-Tonk (IDR 100k)

I have been a huge fan of burger with fried chicken and so is this Honky-Tonk! It consists of a little bit burnt buns, soy milk fried chicken, coleslaw, lettuce, hot sauce and den miso mayo. Unexpectedly, this Honky-Tonk burger was spicier than Burning Man burger, I guess the spiciness from the chili sauce was far stronger that the roasted jalapeno.

The fried chicken was delicious, tender and a little bit crispy although I couldn't feel any soy milk taste on the fried chicken. Overall, the burger was pretty delicious although I know I wouldn't be able to finish this all by myself because of the super spicy sauce.

Overall, it was a nice visit to Three Buns, I have to say the foods price aside the burger was pretty affordable and reasonable considering it is located in Senopati. I know many people will say that the price was quite high compared to other burger joints in Jakarta, but it was worth to try in my opinion. After all, it is nice to have a lunch or dinner in a great ambiance once in a while, right?

It was a busy day in the office and I decided to go out for a meal after I get off work. Having heard about this restaurant from my friend before, I decided to have an early dinner at Social House that day. The restaurant itself is a bit hard to find due to renovation that blocked the way to get to the restaurant, so you have to use the lift near Gramedia to reach Social House. You will be welcomed by Social House signpost and alley which will lead you to the restaurant.

Let's move on to the food!

Capricciosa Pizza (IDR 99k)
The Capricciosa Pizza is a thin-crust pizza topped with tomatoes, mozzarella, ham, sausage, spicy pork salami (you can choose whether you want pork salami or beef salami), red peppers, boiled eggs, basil and chili oil. The portion was quite huge and I bet it is enough for 2 people. I didn't know if the boiled eggs were supposed to be hard-boiled or soft-boiled, but it was oozy and a little bit soft, still, I didn't have any complain regarding the semi soft-boiled eggs, because it was delicious!

I have to say there are plenty of Korean restaurants at Pantai Indah Kapuk right now, I have seen so many new Korean Restaurants opening their outlet at Pantai Indah Kapuk these day. Dubu Jib is one of the Korean restaurants that is located in North Jakarta, specifically at Pantai Indah Kapuk. Dubu Jib literally means House of Tofu, which reflects about their specialty in serving tofu-based foods and beverages.
Let's talk about their food!

La Galbi (IDR 180k)

Judging from the appearance when this menu arrived at my table, I had high expectation of this menu as it looked really appetizing with shining short ribs on the hot plate. And yes, this one didn't let me down, because it was super delicious! The short ribs was perfectly marinated and cooked, it was juicy, tender and a bit chewy. The seasoning was bold and strong unlike the other dishes they served. This one definitely one of the best meats that I ever had.

(It's snack time!)
It's good to know that Chippy Happy Food finally opened their first outlet in Indonesia. Chippy Happy Food is a snack stall originated from Singapore, they served various healthy snacks as they claimed that they are not using any preservatives and additives at all. Their first store in Indonesia is located at Gandaria City, right in front of Lotte Mart and beside Auntie Anne.

Let's talk about their snacks!

Curry Chicken (IDR 33k)
The Curry Chicken is nicely deep-fried chickens with curry powder, it came with mayonnaise sauce as the dipping sauce. (they also have other sauces such as cheese, tartar and vinegar)

As a huge fan of fried food (especially chicken!), I have to say that their Curry Chicken was super delicious! I love how the chicken was not too oily and the crispness was just perfect, the curry flavor was flavorful and the mayonnaise sauce made it even better.
