Chosen by coincidence, this authentic french delicacies is surely far from disappointment. A house converted into a french quarter did not show much from its appearance. We thought it would be just another fancy french restaurant that offers more prestige than taste to the customers. Regardless the doubt, we decided to  give it a try, with an escape plan, should the menu doesn't seem appetizing, we would just order dessert. The restaurant stood out amongst its neighbors, making it easy to spot.

A house converted into a french quarter did not show much from its appearance. We thought it would be just another fancy french restaurant that offers more prestige than taste to the customers. Regardless the doubt, we decided to  give it a try, with an escape plan, should the menu doesn't seem appetizing, we would just order dessert. 
The restaurant stood out amongst its neighbors, making it easy to spot. The grandeur appearance of a french house also convinced us more about the quality and taste of the food. 
When we arrived at the door, we were greeted by the greeter. However, because my fiancee dressed very casually, with shorts and sandals, we had to wait when the greeter checked with the GM whether we can dine in. The GM is a french expat and were very friendly. Not only he allowed us to dine in, he also took us to our table and keep serving us. An amendable service from the General Manager !!
The interior clearly showed a french classic style of a house. Since it was converted to a french restaurant, very little renovation has been done. As a result, we can feel the restaurant is very homey and cozy. 
As we sat on our table, the GM gave us some recommendation on the menu. I ordered the cold cut iberian ham as an appetizer, served with bread and salsa compote. For the main dish, I ordered Miso Yuzu Chilean Seabass. My fiance ordered lobster bisque and scallop seared with veal gravy and sprinkled with truffle oil. He closed it with varlhorna chocolate souffle. 
Now is the time for serious talk: Food review ;)
Miso Yuzu Chilean Seabass: superb!  Nicely cook to perfection. The meat is not overcooked and dry. It is tender and juicy and cooked just enough. The miso yuzu sauce is a little mild. For my personal preference, a little stronger yuzu flavor would be nicer.
Seared scallop: again, cooked to perfection. Not overcooked and the scallop still maintained its chewyness but also soft and easy to eat.  The veal sauce is full of flavor which compliments the simple and fresh scallop. 
Chocolate souffle: another perfection from the chef. Soft, fluffy and Moist with a strong chocolate taste. 
After our dinner the amicable GM gave us a tour of the house. Very good hospitality which is very rare to find in jakarta, even in 5 star hotels.  
What started as a mere curiosity and a doubt turns out to be a memorable dining experience. It's such a nice turn of event
